Watch is not working
Tissot Chat conversation start 9 minutes ago I bought a Tissot PRS516 about a year ago from Dubai. I have no idea as to why its not working now. I watched some of the help tutorials and read some articles to see whether I'm doing anything wrong. In fact, I have done the perfect winding and there is no physical damage, but it works only for a couple of seconds if I shake the watch. I'm very disappointed now after being changed to Tissot from Titian. I have used Casio, Titan, Wester (may be inexpensive brands) watches and my titan watch work even now, even though I bought it over 12 years ago. I hope you would respond me to solve this issue. When I ask the dealer in Sri Lanka they said to bring the watch, but to simply check they wanted 03-04 weeks. I think that's absolutely insane.

Tissot touch wrist watch did not resist a bath
This message is just an outburst. Some time ago I offered myself a Tissot Touch as a self-recognition for becoming the CEO of a multinational company. It was my first premium watch… a signal of status and victory. Unfortunately the feeling lasted very short. To my surprise, despite it is written in the back of the watch “water resistant 30m”, it did not last more than a bath in a shallow outdoor jacuzzy. It was a huge disappointment. I was ashamed of me for spending so much money for a piece of ***. I wish I will someday overcome this bad experience but until then Tissot and I will both have to leave with the discomfort. Luiz

If you would have looked up a watch water resistance chart you would have learned that 30 m "will withstand splashes or brief immersion in water, but is not suitable for swimming" (especially not in a jacuzzy). That is entirely your fault, not Tissot's. The Tissot Touch is a high tech quartz watch with many functions and sensors which make it's only water proof to 30 m.
My intention was just to report a bad experience I had with Tissot. The loss I reported was 695,00 but the system just subtracted the comma. I am sorry for the polemic created.
"It was my first premium watch… a signal of status and victory. Unfortunately the feeling lasted very short." You are better off. Your ego needs the rest.
